We constantly strive to broaden resources available to clients through visiting specialists and referrals through trusted relationships with others in the pet-care community.

We’re pleased to offer the following services at Mountain Aire Veterinary Hospital, Inc.

Appointments

Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately. If possible, it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency and we can prepare appropriately for your pet.

Emergency & Urgent Care

We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and the first Saturday after the first Wednesday of the month, who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several assistants working together to save a pet’s life. Emergencies can be things such as a rattlesnake bite, being hit by a car, any issue to do with the eye, and chocolate ingestion, etc. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call or come in immediately – we will take care of your pet first and reschedule or cancel non-urgent cases. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a team member can advise you on your particular emergency. Transfer to a critical care facility may be recommended once your pet is stabilized.

We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening. If you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment, our veterinarians will work to admit your pet to be seen in between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, our receptionists will take the history and discuss with you which options you would allow for treatment of your pet.

 Types of Pets Seen

Except for our existing clients and patients, we are limited to seeing only dogs and cats at this time. You may call our office to help in referring you to those veterinarians which treat other species.
